There’s an entire culture built around dressing up in costume. Beginning cosplaying can be a little daunting for newcomers and casual hobbyist. Learn about techniques to create a costume from head to toe. Meet other cosplayers and costumers willing to share ideas and techniques. No costumes need to be worn at the program, but feel free to bring photos or portfolios.
In March, learn about cosplay armor, from cardboard to steel. In April, learn about creating medieval cosplay for Renaissance, Fantasy, and LARP. In May, learn about different aspects of creating cosplay for manga, anime, comic books and film.
