March 12th - Computer Basics
Learn the basics of how to operate your PC. Skills taught will include navigation, folder setup, and settings. This workshop is targeted at beginner level computer users.
March 26th - Microsoft Word
Learn the basics of Microsoft Word. Skills taught will include navigation, editing documents, formatting and more. This workshop is targeted at beginner level word processing users.
April 9th - Microsoft Excel Level 1
Learn the basics of Microsoft Excel. Skills taught will include navigation, enter data, and introduce formatting. This workshop will build a foundation for Excel Level 2.
April 23rd - Microsoft Excel Level 2
Continue learning Microsoft Excel. Skills taught will include calculations, simple formulas, organizing data, and inserting charts. This workshop will build on information from Excel Level 1.
May 7th - Cyber/Digital Security
Learn about cyber/social media safety including web threat management, safe practices, and password protection.
May 21st - AI Usage Level 1
Learn the basics of artificial intelligence, including how to enter prompts, AI safety, and helpful tips. Laptops are provided, but providing your own is encouraged. This workshop is targeted at first-time and beginner level AI users. This workshop will build a foundation for AI Usage Level 2.
June 4th - Ai Usage Level 2
Continue learning artificial intelligence to do specific tasks: generate, analyze, and research. Laptops are provided, but providing your own is encouraged. This workshop will build on information from AI Usage Level 1.

The Angelou Northeast Branch Library is located in north Wichita near 21st and Hillside. The building was named for Maya Angelou (1928-2014), an author, poet, professor, civil rights activist, playwright, actress, director, and producer.
