Overview of Bison Ecology and History in The Great Plains
Over 60 million bison once roamed between the Rocky and Appalachian Mountains in North America. Their foraging and walling behaviors help foster a diverse prairie landscape for both plants and animals. George LeRoux, owner of Flint Hills Prairie Bison Reserve and Audubon of Kansas Board Member, will discuss bison ecology, behavior and history in the Great Plains.
