Watch the short films nominated for Academy Awards for Best Picture!
The Wichita Public Library has been screening the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ nominated short films every year since 1986. Each year, the Academy nominates five films in the categories of Live Action, Animation, and Documentary. This program features the best short films from around the world and is one of the longest-running programs at the Wichita Public Library.
Come watch the films nominated for Best Short Film in the Animated, Live Action and Documentary categories. Each film is 40 minutes or less and may not be suitable for all audiences.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and Friends of the Library used bookstore.
