Learn all the basics of operating a sewing machine including threading the machine, troubleshooting common mistakes and more. Call 261-8500 or visit wichitalibrary.org to register.
Whether you are wanting to learn to sew your own clothes, create home decor items, or upcycle fabrics to live more sustainably, building foundational skills in using a sewing machine are essential. There will be a limited number of Janome 2222 sewing machines available for use during the program, or learners can bring a machine from home if they prefer (if you bring your own sewing machine, it is highly recommended to bring the instruction manual if you have it). Class size is limited, and registration is required.
