Are you an artist or creative who enjoys having a movie on while you work? Join us at the library for Art-Flix, where you can collaborate with fellow artists, watch an inspiring film, and engage with your community.
The theme for August is Puzzles, and we will have puzzles for you to complete as well as a make your own puzzle station.
Films include the animated classic The Last Unicorn (1982) and selected Animated Shorts.
About The Third Place on Second Street
A "third place" is a vital social space where people can gather and connect outside of home and work. These spaces foster casual interactions, build relationships, exchange ideas, and create a sense of belonging.
The Wichita Public Library invites you to make the library your third place with The Third Place on Second Street, an engaging program series designed to bring people together. Each event features a unique theme and activity ranging from board games and movies to live music and more offering opportunities to relax, have fun, and connect with others in the community.
Each TPOSS event also includes a curated selection of library materials related to the theme, available for checkout.
