Join us for an art activity that encourages self-reflection and mental well-being in a judgment-free space. Call 316-261-8500 or visit wichitalibrary.org/events to register.
Art can be a powerful tool for self-expression and self-discovery. When we create art as a tool for self-care, we have the opportunity to explore our thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space. This month we will reflect back on the past year and create a painting using pen and watercolor paints that represents the things in our lives that we are thankful for. No previous painting experience is required, basic classroom-grade watercolors/paintbrushes, paper and ink pens will be provided.
