The adventure continues as we dive deeper into the crafting of cosplay. In June, learn about sewing and make a shirt. In July, learn to tailor your costumes. In August, we?ll work with EVA foam.
There’s an entire culture built around dressing up in costume. Beginning cosplaying can be a little daunting for newcomers and casual hobbyist. Learn about techniques to create a costume from head to toe. Meet other cosplayers and costumers willing to share ideas and techniques. No costumes need to be worn at the program, but feel free to bring photos or portfolios.
In June, learn the basics of Sewing, and making a basic Medieval coif and shirt. In July, learn about tailoring cosplay, including making and using a Duck-tape Dummy. In August, we’ll take a deeper look into crafting with EVA foam, making armor and props.
