About the Third Place On Every Street series
A "third place" is a vital social space where people can gather and connect outside of home and work. These spaces serve as community hubs, fostering casual interactions, building relationships, exchanging ideas, and creating a sense of belonging.
The Wichita Public Library invites you to make the library your third place with The Third Place on Every Street, an engaging program series designed to bring people together. Each event features a unique theme and activity, offering opportunities to relax, have fun, and connect with others in the community. From board games and movies to live music and more, there’s something for everyone.
Each Third Place event also includes a curated selection of library materials related to the event’s theme, which you can check out and enjoy at home.
Come and discover how the library can be your third place!
