Join us for an art activity that encourages self-reflection and mental well-being in a judgment-free space. Call 316-261-8500 or visit wichitalibrary.org/events to register. For all ages and families.
Art can be a powerful tool for self-expression and self-discovery. When we create art as a tool for self-care, we have the opportunity to explore our thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space. This month we will be creating simple, yet powerful, kindness jars. Have you ever had a rough day, when you felt like you could use some kind words as a pick-me-up? This craft will help prepare you for those types of days by giving you time to write yourself messages of encouragement and tuck them away safely in a jar for your future self. All supplies are provided.
