For two generations Larry Hatteberg has been both the face and voice of the news - and the broadcast journalist who showed his fellow Kansans what was most unique about themselves.
For over 50 years beloved newscaster and award-winning photojournalist Larry Hatteberg has brought a uniquely personal brand of television to Kansas. His "Hatteberg's People" profiled ordinary people doing extraordinary things and became the longest-running news feature in Kansas, leading to two bestselling books and an updated edition on KPTS. In his own words: "My philosophy is to let people tell their own stories. Everyone has something to say - but we have to stop and listen. I've found that I do a lot of listening." This month Larry Hatteberg will tell stories and share memories in a special Senior Wednesday.
