Have you struggled with finding books, articles, or other information that interests you? Are you frustrated with sifting through page after page of search engine results to find what you're looking for? Going back to school and need a refresher about finding and citing reliable sources for a research paper? If any of these research scenarios strike a chord with you, come get some tips and tricks from a local information professional and learn to research like a librarian!
This session is focused on using generative AI tools for research. Learn about the pros and cons of using AI for your research needs, strategies to engage more critically with AI tools so that you don't get fooled, Library resources that can be used as alternatives to AI tools, and more! Registration is encouraged but not required. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own devices (laptops, tablets, smarthphones, etc.) so that they can follow along with the facilitator.
