A short and somewhat humorous history of the most infamous Ponzi scheme ever to befall the city of Wichita.
When itinerant entrepreneur J.S. Porter arrived in town in 1929 to transform the vacated Kansas Sanitarium into a rabbit breeding farm, hopes were high that Wichita would find its way out of the Great Depression with rabbit pelts, rabbit meat, and rabbit breeding. But within a year Porter had disappeared, leaving behind enraged investors, massive debts - and 55,000 starving rabbits for the community to feed, water, and adopt. Presented by filmmaker Sara Harmon, and featuring her documentary short "Who Scammed Rajah Rabbit?"
