Craft Swap & Make: Paper Crafts and Mixed Media

Join fellow makers in the community to share craft supplies and work on projects together. Nina Winter from Tissu Sewing Studio will share tips and project ideas for a variety of paper arts.

This summer we are celebrating community crafting with a monthly series that fosters sharing and making together! For August, we will focus on paper arts and mixed media projects such as origami, scrapbooking, card making, collage, découpage and more. Attendees are encouraged to bring any unused or leftover craft supplies such as speciality papers, Mod Podge, scrapbooking supplies, etc. to share with others or just bring along a project to work on! No previous knowledge or skills in any of the above-mentioned crafts is required to participate - this is a great opportunity to meet other like-minded crafty people and to try out something new! Anyone joining who does know how to do any of these activities is encouraged to share their expertise with others if they are comfortable doing so. Nina Winter from Tissu Sewing Studio and Enrichment Librarian Jenny Durham will also share project ideas and tips for anyone needing inspiration.
