Kick off Banned Books Week with this Third Place event. Learn about making zines, play board games with fellow creators, and celebrate free expression.

We're kicking off Banned Books Week with a Zine Bash!

Pick up a copy of a zine specifically created to celebrate the freedom to read and provide tips, resources, and conversation starters for discussing censorship. Meet local zine publishers, make your own zine, and play board games with fellow creators. We'll also have button-making, yard sign decorating, coloring sheets, and other hands-on activities throughout the evening. Whether you're a longtime zinester or just curious about zines, join us as we celebrate free expression, creativity, and the freedom to read.
