Strong Neighborhoods Conference brings together people from neighborhoods across Wichita to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another. Whether you’re new to neighborhood involvement or have been part of it for years, everyone is welcome. This free event was previously known as the Neighborhood Leadership Conference.
Sessions will cover practical ways to start and sustain neighborhood associations, build stronger connections among neighbors, and explore new ideas that support strong and connected communities. Join us to share experiences, learn from one another, and discover new ways to support the neighborhoods we call home.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
