Are you looking to reduce textile waste, save money AND have a unique accessory that you can add to your self-care routine? Join us for our "Sew Sustainable Self Care" series, which focuses on repurposing fabric to make useful self-care items while also being eco-friendly! In this workshop you will create a weighted aromatherapy eye pillow made from repurposed fabric, rice and dried lavender. This workshop is appropriate for beginners. Participants may bring used clothing or other textiles made from a soft material like flannel or cotton to make the pillow, but it is not required. A limited number of sewing machines will be available to use during the program, or you may bring one from home. This workshop is free, but registration is required. Space is limited, so don't delay! Register online or call 316-261-8500.
