Celebrate Indigenous Culture with this screening of Taika Waititi's Hunt For the Wilder People
This month, the Advanced Learning Library is celebrating Native and Indigenous Cultures with the Third Place on Second Street Indigenous Film Series.
For the first installment, we will watch Maori Director Taika Waititi's 2018 film Hunt For the Wilderpeople.

From acclaimed New Zealand director Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok, What We Do in the Shadows) comes an award-winning new comedy. Julian Dennison stars as Ricky, a defiant young city kid who finds himself on the run with his cantankerous foster uncle (Sam Neil) in the wild New Zealand bush. A national manhunt ensues, and the two are forced to put aside their differences and work together.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
