For this quarter’s selection, we will be reading Bee Season by Myla Goldberg. This novel follows Eliza Naumann, a seemingly unremarkable fifth grader who becomes a spelling bee prodigy. As Eliza's talent rises to prominence, the Naumann family's fragile dynamic begins to unravel. Her success sets off a chain of events that affects each family member, revealing hidden obsessions and spiritual quests.
