What better way to stay cozy in the middle of winter than working on puzzles—and what better place to do it than the library? Bring a friend and spend the afternoon solving puzzles together, then try your hand at creating your own at our puzzle-making station. While you play, we’ll also be screening a film to keep the cozy vibes going.
About The Third Place Series
A "third place" is a vital social space where people can gather and connect outside of home and work. These spaces foster casual interactions, build relationships, exchange ideas, and create a sense of belonging.
The Wichita Public Library invites you to make the library your third place with The Third Place series, an engaging program series designed to bring people together. Each event features a unique theme and activity ranging from board games and movies to live music and more offering opportunities to relax, have fun, and connect with others in the community.
Each TPOSS event also includes a curated selection of library materials related to the theme, available for checkout.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
