Learn about challenges that many adults face with reading, resources adults can use to become a better reader, and ways you can enjoy using the library without needing to be a strong reader.

While libraries are famous for being great places for readers, librarians understand that reading doesn't come easy to everyone. No matter your reading abilities, the library is for you!

In this program, you'll get to talk with Adult Literacies Manager Steven Kelly about some of the challenges that many adults face with reading, learn about resources and steps they can take to become better readers, and ways they can enjoy using the library without needing to be strong readers.

About the branch

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
