To tie into this year’s Summer Reading Program theme, “Unearth a Story,” we’re heading back to the ancient world with a documentary screening exploring the lost city of Pompeii. Once celebrated as a jewel of the Roman Empire, Pompeii also had a hidden side. This film examines ongoing efforts to uncover the city’s lesser-known history and the secrets buried beneath ash for centuries.
