"Unearth a Story" and join us for a Summer Reading Program themed book club for adults. The book we'll be discussing is The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green, a collection of pithy and thoughtful essays where the author reflects on a wide range of subjects in our increasingly human-centered world: velociraptors, Diet Dr. Pepper, sunsets, the Indianapolis 500, and so much more. This is a great book for fans of nonfiction and readers who like books written in short, digestible segments. While supplies last, 10 copies of the book will be available for check-out at the Advanced Learning Library starting June 8, 2026. For more information on how to check out a reserved copy, call 316-261-8500 or email stkelly@wichita.gov.
