Celebrate Banned Books Week with an art party hosted by WPL in partnership with Harvester Arts and Studio JenVenn. Attendees will have the opportunity to design their own banned book covers and shirts
Join us for the Banned Books Week Kickoff Party! Attendees can design a cover for their favorite banned book or choose a book from a list available at the event. After you complete your design, the library will display them at the west entrance of the Advanced Learning Library during Banned Books Week from September 22nd – 29th .
Also at the event there will be a "Bring Your Own Shirt" interactive block printing lab provided by Studio JenVenn. Bring a light colored t-shirt or canvas bag to create your own WPL Banned Books Week 2024 t-shirt / tote.
Each attendee can screen print one t-shirt. Supplies are limited, so please register before September 21st.
