Between 1893 and 1894, Wichita experienced a spike in reported hauntings, many of which were documented in local newspapers of the time.
This program will feature a screening of Legacy of the West's documentary on the subject, which delves into the historical record and research behind the mysterious phenomena.
Following the film, Enrichment Librarian Jenny Durham will discuss the Spiritualism movement of the 1890s and share recommended reading for those interested in exploring the topic further.
