Join us for an art activity that encourages self-reflection and mental well-being in a judgment-free space. Call 316-261-8500 or visit wichitalibrary.org/events to register.
This month we will create a vision board, which is a collection of images, words and affirmations that represent your goals, values and aspirations. Although typically associated with goal setting, they can also be used to reframe our anxious thoughts into a mindfulness practice. Using poster board, magazine clippings and other art supplies, we will create our own vision board by reframing our anxieties and fears using imagery that counteracts these negative emotions. No art skill or experience is required and art supplies will be provided to complete the vision board.
