Come talk about your favorite banned books with fellow book lovers and intellectual freedom enthusiasts. This is a BYOB (bring your own book!) event, but the Library will provide a selection of banned book titles to choose from if you don't have a favorite to share. In addition to talking about these books, we'll discuss the current state of book banning in the U.S. and strategies to help preserve people's ability to read freely.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
