The Book Bus is a unique outreach initiative designed to bring library services to neighborhoods in Wichita without easy access to a branch. This recycled Wichita Transit bus has been transformed into a mobile library, complete with shelves full of books. While most of the collection is geared toward children, you’ll also find a small but popular selection for adults.

The Advanced Learning Library, located centrally in the historic Delano neighborhood, has many specialty services and collections including the Maker Space and AV Studio, local history and genealogy collections, and the Friends of the Wichita Public Library used bookstore.
