The Book Bus will be at the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit for feeding time. Location: Riverside Park 700 N Nims St, Wichita, KS
Enjoy getting out of the house, grabbing a good book and meeting furry and feathered friends during the feeding time presentation at 12 noon. A special appearance by Odn the screech owl will also take place! There is even a (warm) indoor exhibit room with additional animal ambassadors.
The Book Bus is an outreach initiative to bring library services to areas of Wichita that don't have quick access to a physical library location. The recycled bus from Wichita Transit is outfitted with shelves of books residents can borrow from the bus. While the majority of the books are geared towards children, there is a limited collection of popular books for adults.
